Job Title: Audit Services – Assessors/auditors Location: Achilles Information Limited Nigeria 30, Lady Oyinkan Abayomi Drive (former Queens Drive), Ikoyi - Lagos Reporting to: Head of Audit Services Purpose of the Job: To deliver NJQS audits /assessments across the Oil & Gas Industry in Nigeria and where applicable international Key responsibilities 1. To deliver Assessments / Audits as directed by the Head, Assessment Services or the representative. 2. Ensure that assessments / audits are delivered in accordance with the industry agreed standards and to the highest levels of integrity. 3. Ensure that assessments / audits are completed and forwarded to the Assessment / audit Operations team within the agreed timescales. 4. Plan and manage audit workload in the most cost efficient manner, maximizing productivity and minimizing expenditure relating to audit delivery, liaising with internal operations personnel to ensure the maximum uptake of time & resources. 5. Identify and promote opportunities for scheme growth. 6. Participate in the ongoing development of the scheme by assisting on the development of new/revised audit material. 7. Contribute, as required, to Achilles’ service development initiatives in other sectors and countries with an objective of transferring knowledge gained in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry sector to other parts of Achilles Group. 8. To work within a framework of corporate standards and procedures. 9. Liaise where necessary with clients or other interested parties to provide guidance on the content of the scheme. 10. Continually monitor industry trends to ensure the scheme delivery meets the needs of both the company and client at all times. Knowledge and previous experience Awareness of scope of Oil & Gas Industry supply chain activities Well versed in Oil & Gas industry processes and standards Knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry Engineering and/or Operations Knowledge of the NJQS scheme Experienced in working without supervision. Experienced in the delivery of assessment / audits, preferably within the NJQS scheme Working to deliver to and be measured against key performance indicators Previous training Holder of Health and Safety Certification e.g. Nebosh or equivalent Lead Assessor qualified via examination (Preferably IRCA or RSA/QAB) Essential Skills Customer focused and service orientated – fully mobile & flexible A team player capable of meeting high customer expectations. Excellent interpersonal and report writing skills Good PC skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc) Person specification Focused on quality and delivery within a commercially aware customer service environment. A high standard of appearance. A self motivated individual with well developed interpersonal skills An articulate communicator with the ability to probe when necessary Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives within supplier’s organisations Ability to produce professionally presented written reports and summaries Ability to deliver training programmes, seminars to their peers. Credible reputation within the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry The ideal post holder will come with recent experience in auditing in the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably within the NJQS Audit scheme. They will be enthusiastic, committed and with a real desire to improve supplier competence within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal post holder will have a strong desire to shape and deliver a highly significant part of the NipeX business via the delivery of assessments/audit.
