FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

A multi-national construction company is seeking an energetic and dynamic team player to fill the position of Financial Controller in their Nigeria Head Office. You will report to executive management.

The Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsibility for all financial and management accounting period reporting
Assisting in the preparation of project budget and cash forecasting
Responsibility for daily accounting operations, including Treasury matters
Month end closing and reconciliation of control accounts
Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as directed

Qualification & Experience required:
A sound working knowledge of the accounting aspect of the construction industry
A University degree and professional accounting qualification, ideally gained in an auditing environment
At least 15 years solid accounting experience with a minimum of 5 at a senior organization level
Practical knowledge and experience of Management Accounting and Nigerian Taxation
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
The ability to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent practical working knowledge of Microsoft software products, e.g. Excel, Word etc
Hands on experience in Business Solution software, e.g. SAP, Access, Sage etc
