Human Resource Officer
JOB VACANCY FOR A HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
There is an opening for a human resources officer in a furniture manufacturing company.
The H.R Officer will be required to carry out the following responsibilities. Screen job applicants to obtain information such as education and work experience
Update appropriate forms when an employee receives a promotion or changes address
Request references from present or past employers of applicants
Inform job applicants of their acceptance or rejection for employment
Conduct internet research to locate resumes
Keep track of address changes, change in job titles, benefits and salaries.
Types correspondence, memos, surveys, payment vouchers, position codes and other materials.
Establishes and maintain computer records, including recruitment files and tests, general files and other information on sick leave, payroll, vacation pay, attendance cards, and hourly time records: maintains confidential employee information and records
Performs office services such as filing of documents, duplication, stocking of supplies and monitoring of equipment.
Maintains an accurate employees telephone list and other necessary databases
Distributes incoming and outgoing mail
Answers incoming calls and transfers to appropriate staff members
Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
REQUIREMENTS
